Stokes County WB 4/40. 16 Sept 1819 June Term 1830 (Abstracted): “Having attained advanced age.” Children:
Henry; Mary (wife of John Hanes); Magdaline (widow Hauser); Elizabeth (wife of John Christian Lehman); Mary
Barbara (wife of Simon Peter Hauser), money arising from sale personal property; Mary Barbara’s to be held in
trust for her children. To seven legitimate children (not named) of deceased son Peter, $10 each. To three
children of deceased son Jacob, namely: Peter, Christian and Polly Shore, $10 each. To son Henry and son-in-law
John Christian Lehman (for trouble they had with me in my old age), 150 acres each out of 1,000 acres I own on
Obine River in Tennessee; remaining 700 acres sold and money divided among five above living children; also 250
acres near Yadkin River. To son-in-law John C. Lehman, Grist Mill near Bethania for $400.00. Wills old Negro
woman Franke to be set free. Executors: Son Henry Shore and son-in-law John C. Lehman. Witnesses: Michael
