MARIA VOGLER
Mar. 5, 1830-Oct.. 31, 1910
Although never a UDC member, Maria
worked tirelessly during the War. Her
brother Julius, and other Vogler
relatives served throughout the War.
CAPT. RUFUS W. WHARTON,
a local Forsyth attorney, commanded the 11th
Reg't, NC Voluntters - Forsyth Grays.  
Reorganized as Co. E, 21st Reg't, NC Inf.  In 1860
he was 32 years old with a family.
COLEMAN BARNES ZIGLAR 1818-1899
Enlisted  at age of 42 in 1861 and elected
1st Lt.,Co K, 21st Reg't, NC Inf. Later
served in Eli Holland's Co., 7th Reg't, NC
Sr. Res.
LUCIA SWANSON WILKINSON
Joined James B. Gordon Chapter on
Sept. 23, 1918 on the service of her
uncle M.B. Swanson, Co. C, 3rd Ala.
