Confederate veterans here attending the annual State reunion are aglow with members of
the days of 1861-65. This picture, snapped by a Journal staff photographer yesterday
afternoon, shows a group of them swapping yarns. Seated in front is D.C. Warlick, of
Lincolnton. Others shown, left to right, are W.O. Glover of York County, South Carolina;
L.A. Sheek of Davie County; E.R. Cooper, of Cumberland County; M.C. Corquodle, of
Cumberland County; I.J. Sullivan of Lincolnton; F.R. Harris of Reidsville, commander of
Seales Boyd Camp; W.T. Hauss, of Lincolnton, and Fowler Jonas, also of Lincolnton. Mr.
Jonas is a cousin of Congressman Charles A. Jonas, of North Carolina.
