BENBOW FAMILY REUNION: This is a notice that we'll hold our annual reunion on Saturday, June 27th, 2009, at East Bend Baptist
Church, East Bend, Yadkin County, NC. The street address is 112 Fairground Road, East Bend, NC 27018. All Benbow
descendants are welcome, whether your ancestor was Charles or Gershon or someone else. As usual, this will be a covered
dish luncheon, so please bring something to share and perhaps something to drink as well. This date is the same date as the
East Bend Fourth of July Parade, which finishes about 11 AM. Traffic and parking may be more difficult than normal, until the
crowds disperse. It's not a huge parade, but then this is not a huge town! With that in mind, we'll probably plan to eat about
12:30-1:00, rather than a little earlier. I will probably do an update on the DNA project as the program. There is an interesting
piece of news to share. For those of you who still have an old AOL address for me, please update your address book. That
address is still open, but I have moved my genealogy traffic to this address. If you don't want to receive reunion notices, please let
me know. If there are others who want to be added to this list, please have them get in touch with me. And please do remember
to keep me informed of email address changes. Thank you, and I hope to see some of you on June 27th. We will meet at New
Garden in Greensboro in 2010.
