In this city, the past week, Mrs. Susan Branson Vaughn, 77.  She was a native of Stokes county and a member of the Methodist church.  One son survives.


Dec. 30, 1938 - [WSJ] - H.S. VAUGHN FUNERAL TODAY

Funeral services for Henry Samuel Vaughn, 57, of New Lexington road, Winston-Salem, Route 4, will be held at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon at the home.
Elder O.J. Denny will be in charge.  Burial will be in Forsyth Memorial Park.
Survivors include the widow, who before marriage was
Miss Cora Tilley; three sons, Carl, Raymond and Carroll Vaughn; one daughter, Mrs. Howard Bray; three
brothers,
Dee Vaughn, Winston-Salem, and David and Dock Vaughn, of Pilot Mountain; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Barnes and Mrs. Edna Turpin, Pilot Mountain and
Mrs. Mary Hunter, of Winston-Salem; and three grandchildren.
