In 1991 there were 20 known headstones in the Hessian Graveyard aka Henning Graveyard.
This graveyard is located off of Balsom Road in Pfafftown, NC near Bashavia Creek and Balsom Wood Housing
Development. Reports of past vandalism resulted in destroyed stones. In fact, there may be none seen there today.
In 1991 there were 20 known headstones in the Hessian Graveyard aka Henning Graveyard.

Andre(w) W. George born December 25, 1750--died
October 11, 1841 in Stokes County, North Carolina (now
Forsyth County). He married Mary "Betsy" Unknown. She was
born Abt. 1753, and died August 09, 1813 in Stokes County,
North Carolina (now Forsyth County). Buried in the Henning
Graveyard, off Balsam Rd, Pfafftown, NC [aka Hessian
Graveyard]
October 11, 1841 in Stokes County, North Carolina (now

James Aldene George, son of Andrew George, as born August 05, 1795 in Stokes County, NC. He died March 17, 1847 in Stokes Co. (Forsyth County, NC.)
Buried in the Hessian Graveyard. He married Leah (Strupe) Strub August 02, 1819 in Stokes County, North Carolina. She was born October 01, 1799 in
Bethania, Stokes County, , North Carolina; died December 12, 1880 in Forsyth County, NC.

March 17, 1847: Early today James George, Conrad's miller, fell dead. When he got out of bed, he had a stroke.
March 19, 1847: Held the funeral of the late Jas. George at the house by the mill. From there went to a graveyard not far from Tim. Holder's where the
deceased was buried.
The original stone states death year as 1847, but the replacement stone has 1844. Clearly the replacement stone is wrong based on the Moravian Diaries.
